How it all began
Every love story has a beginning, and ours began in Manila, where we first met as co-workers.
Deon was the one who made the first move. With a simple “Hi,” an offered handshake, and an introduction, he started what seemed like an ordinary interaction between two co-workers. Neither of us knew then that this small moment would eventually become the beginning of our forever.
What started as a simple introduction became the first page of a story we would continue writing together. As time passed, we got to know each other beyond the workplace, creating memories and building a connection that would grow into something much more meaningful.
Looking back, it's amazing how life can surprise us. Sometimes, the most important people enter our lives in the most ordinary ways. No grand gestures, no elaborate plans—just a hello, a handshake, and a chance encounter that turned into something neither of us could have imagined.
Today, we're grateful for that first meeting and for every moment that brought us here. Soon, we'll take each other's hands once more, this time with a promise to walk through life together, through every season and every adventure that awaits us.
From co-workers in Manila to partners for life, ours is a reminder that sometimes, forever begins with the simplest of hellos.
